What is mindset?
Some think of mindset as a cognitive process that is confined to the head and brain, equate it to beliefs and mental models, or fit it neatly into basic categories like fixed vs. growth mindset. While such interpretations can be useful, a historical, field-wide view reveals a much richer picture.
From this view, mindset can be understood as a pattern you’ve developed and currently embody, one that shapes every part of your life, from your deepest thoughts and feelings, to how you connect with people and the world around you. This pattern of mindset isn’t just in your head; it lives in your body and your relationships. It exists both within you and between you and others, having cognitive, emotional, physical, and social dimensions.
Mindset also goes far beyond simple beliefs or categories. It’s more like a diverse ecology that consists of a “set” of your attitudes, values, paradigms, worldviews, and more. Learn more here:

Hi, I’m Ash
My work is grounded in a deep curiosity to understand mindset as fully as possible. My dream is to support the co-creation of a science of mindset that is based on all the evidence, and advance the development of mindset skills that are practical for meeting the challenges of the 21st century. This website aims to support this by providing some of the best resources and tools for mindset on the web, that have been curated to reflect the collective knowledge of the field.
Are you ready to put the collective knowing of mindset science to work in your organisation, school, or practice?
